West Ham manager David Moyes has spoken out about how goalkeeper Joe Hart reacted at being dropped from the team for the 1-0 win against Chelsea on Saturday.
Hart, whose form has been questionable this season, was not eligible to play against Manchester City last weekend and had his place taken by Adrian who was impressive.
As a reward for his performance, Moyes opted to start with Adrian for the game against Chelsea and the keeper was impressive yet again and appears to have a calming influence on the defenders.
The axing will surely be a blow for Hart who is hoping to play for England at the 2018 World Cup.
Moyes said: “I have two really good goalkeepers. Joe was professional when I told him he wasn’t playing, and Adrian played very well last week. We have kept a clean sheet today, so at the moment Adrian’s done well and played well again today.”
