Jermaine Jenas has urged Tottenham to sign a top striker to play alongside Harry Kane.
“Spurs should spend big on a top striker to play with Harry Kane. I don’t see him going to Real Madrid in the summer,” Jenas said, as quoted by BT Sport Football’s twitter account.
The 24 year old Kane has been phenomenal for the Lilywhites over the last two seasons as they narrowly missed out on Premier League success and he has now firmly established himself as one of the most feared strikers in World football.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino brought in Vincent Janssen to the club last season to serve as understudy to Kane but the Dutchman was sent out on loan after he failed to impress.
The North London club opted to bring in veteran Spanish forward Fernando Llorente to support Kane this season but he too has so far failed to impress, having scored just once from 17 appearances.
