Tottenham have slumped domestically of recent, falling 18 points behind league leaders Manchester City and now left fighting for a top 4 finish after 15 games.

The north London outfit are hoping to use the January transfer window to arrest the messy situation, and reports claim AC Milan winger Suso and Inter Milan midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia are top targets.

Spurs targeted Suso in the summer but saw their £20million bid knocked back.

They will however return with an improved bid for the Spaniard who now has a £44million buyout clause.

Kondogbia has also been long admired by manager Mauricio Pochettino from his Monaco days, and that he’s currently impressing on a season-long loan at Valencia has brought him back on Spurs’ radar.

With the La Liga challengers hoping to activate the French powerhouse’s buyout clause at the end of the campaign, it could prove difficult for Spurs to land him midway through the campaign.

Getting Suso on the other hand will be much easier, with Milan looking to balance the books due to Financial Fair Play rules.

Tottenham can definitely do with more quality additions in midfield and attack, and the Milan duo can be of great impact going forward if they were to be signed.
