Manchester City star Delph hits out at West Ham United

Manchester City’s Fabian Delph has criticized West Ham for “’parking the bus”’ during his side’s 2 -1 victory against the Hammers on Sunday afternoon.

“It was difficult, teams seem to come here and get every man behind the ball, not interested in anything but parking the bus,” Delph told Sky Sports.

“But we have players like David Silva in the team, so we knew if we kept going we’d get our chances.

“We knew we had to be patient, we came out flying in the second half, we tried to explain to the boys we still had time and then we started to relax a bit more and found those spaces.

For the second successive weekend, City trailed at half time but went on to seal victory during the second half. Angelo Ogbonna put the Hammers up just before the break.

City however managed to eventually win the game during the second half through goals from Nicolas Otamendi and David Silva.

The result continued Pep Guardiola’s sides strong run of form and they have now won 14 out of their 15 League games played thus far and have an eight point advantage over second placed Manchester United.
