West Ham United plotting move for maverick attacker

Hatem Ben Arfa2

Premier League strugglers West Ham are being linked with a move for PSG attacker Hatem Ben Arfa.

The former Newcastle United man has struggled for game time under Unai Emery so far this season and is said to be keen on leaving the French capital in order to play more regularly.

PSG are also likely to be willing to sell the player in order to comply with Fifa Fair play regulations after spending heavily during the summer transfer window.

The French international has only made three appearances for his club this season all of which have come in the Coupe de France.

He has however managed to impress when called upon and has also scored three goals from as many games.

West Ham will be hoping to make January reinforcements in order to boost their survival chances this season and the prospect of regular game time in the English top flight is something that could appeal to Ben Arfa.
