Former Manchester United star Owen Hargreaves believes that West Ham manager David Moyes is wasting the talent of Marko Arnautovic.
The Hammers continued their poor form this season by falling to a 4-0 defeat against Everton on Wednesday night. Arnautovic was started on the right during the game and failed to impress yet again.
Hargreaves believes that a major reason as to why Arnautovic is failing to deliver is because he is being utilized out of position.
After arriving from Stoke City during the summer, Arnautovic was expected to deliver for the East London club. However he has been subjected to criticism and speculation has even suggested that he could soon leave the club.
Hargreaves said about the situation: “He should be playing on the left, especially when you’ve got your second choice left-back [Arthur Masuaku] on the left. You’ve paid £25 million for him, play him in his best position.”
