Tottenham star Harry Kane not happy following West Brom clash

Tottenham star Harry Kane has admitted that his side were simply not good enough following their 1-1 draw against struggling West Brom at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

“We’re disappointed,” Kane told reporters after the match. “It’s hard to say, we have to look back and see why we were slow getting going in the first half.

“But it’s not good enough. And it leaves us quite far behind in the league, now. We should be able to play better and beat these sides [at Wembley], we have to just figure it out and keep working.”

Salomon Rondon put the Baggies up front after just four minutes and Mauricio Pochettino’s men needed Kane himself to rescue a point for them as he went on to score.

The result will be especially disappointing to Spurs as it further dents their hopes of winning the title this season. It was also not the perfect follow up for the North London side after they lost against Arsenal last weekend.

They will however have an opportunity to avenge themselves when they face off against Leicester on Tuesday.
