Pochettino hints at an exit for Tottenham star next summer

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has refused to confirm whether defender Danny Rose will be at the club next season.

Rose was reportedly livid after he was left out of the Spurs match-day squad for their game against Arsenal in the Premier League last weekend.

In addition to this, he also controversially stated during the summer transfer window that he feels that Spurs under pay their players and added that he would be willing to leave the club if he had received an offer from a club that challenges for major trophies on a regular basis.

Rose has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United and Jose Mourinho is said to be a fan of his.

In addition to this, the 27-year-old is also not always guaranteed of a first team spot even when fully fit as Ben Davies has excelled during recent times.

When asked if Rose will be a Spurs player next season, Pochettino replied saying: “This is not the moment to talk about that.

“All players have contracts with us, involved in our project. You cannot guess what is going to happen in the future.”
