New Sunderland manager Chris Coleman has revealed that he thinks that Aston Villa will end up getting promoted this season.
Villa have been in impressive form recently and are currently languishing in 5th position on the Championship standings after taking 29 points from 17 games played thus far. They won their most recent match 2-1 against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
Coleman meanwhile has a heavy task on his hands after leaving the Wales national team to become Simon Grayson’s successor as manager of the Black Cats.
He will need to help the Black Cats who are playing a poor brand of football avoid back to back relegations after they were also relegated from the Premier League last season.
The 47-year-old Coleman has been watching Villa and believes that they will get promoted saying, “We can’t ask for too much. Villa are doing very well, top six and I expect them to succeed this season because Brucie is doing a good job there.”
