Leeds play arguably their toughest game of the Championship campaign on Wednesday night when they visit Molineux Stadium to play Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The league leaders have been streets ahead of the majority of their rivals, winning 12 of their 17 games and losing just 3.
The Whites are currently 12 points behind Wolves, and despite returning to winning ways with a solid 2-1 win over Middlesbrough at the weekend, they will need to play their best game of the season thus far to have a chance of getting an impressive result.
There is belief within Leeds camp that returning to Elland Road with a victory is possible, but Sky Sports pundit and the club’s ex player David Prutton thinks different.
He is of the opinion that Wolves will come out of tops of the encounter to continue their impressive form.
The former midfielder wrote in his EFL predictions column: “Now this is a big game.
“Leeds should have their tails up after beating Middlesbrough on Sunday, but there are no tougher games at this level right now than a trip to Molineux.
“Wolves are flying and don’t look like being beaten right now, and if they get the first goal I can’t see Leeds coming back at them. This should be a home win.”
Given the forms of both sides, Wolves remain clear favorites having lost just once at home.
However, Leeds can prove their promotion credentials if they manage to grab a victory.
