According to a report published by the Sun, Manchester United could make a bid for Tottenham defender Danny Rose during the January transfer window.
The 27 year old Rose was linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer transfer window and United manager Jose Mourinho is believed to be a fan of his.
Rose caused controversy during the summer when he claimed that Spurs do not pay their players sufficiently and added that he would be willing to leave the club if he received an offer from a club who win trophies on a regular basis.
A swap deal involving out of favor left-back Luke Shaw could be one option that United could utilize. Shaw is seemingly not part of Mourinho’s future plans.
He has worked under Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino while both men were on the books of Southampton and could be keen on a move to be reunited with his former boss.
