Leeds boost as attacker set to return to starting lineup after injury

Reliable journalist Phil Hay has said that Caleb Ekuban looks set to be recalled to the Leeds first team for their game against Middlesbrough.

Ekuban has been out of action for the past two months due to a foot injury and during an exchange with a fan of Leeds, Hay added that he has a chance to be recalled.

Leeds will be looking to return to winning ways this weekend after suffering several losses from their past nine games which has heaped the pressure on manager Thomas Christiansen.

Given that Ekuban has been in training for the past two weeks, he will be hoping to return during the game. Ekuban is a promising talent and showed his potential by scoring on debut during a 4-1 League Cup demolition of Port Vale in August.

He was given a start after Chris Wood claimed that he was ordered not to play against Sunderland and looked decent before he had to leave the game midway through the second half due to injury.
