According to reports, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy considered appointing David Moyes as manager twice in the past. On Tuesday it was announced that Moyes is the new West Ham manager following the sacking of Slaven Bilic.
Moyes takes over a side who are clearly struggling in the Premier League with just nine points from 11 games.
He will have a point to prove to the World of football considering that his last three managerial spells with Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland have been viewed as largely unsuccessful.
The Guardian reported in 2012 that Spurs were considering appointing Moyes as their manager after questions began to be raised over the future of Harry Redknapp. They eventually ended up appointing Andre Villas-Boas.
In 2014 after Tim Sherwood was sacked, Moyes was once again linked with the Spurs managerial position as he himself was without a job at the time after being sacked by Manchester United. However the club opted for Mauricio Pochettino instead.
