According to a report published by West Ham source Claret and Hugh, West Ham are set to be tying up a deal which could see David Moyes become the club’s new manager.

The Hammers suffered a 4-1 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday which means that they have now picked up just 8 points from their opening 11 matches of the season. The report added that Phil Neville will be appointed as Moyes’ assistant.

Since leaving Everton to join Manchester United in 2013, Moyes managerial career has been largely unsuccessful and he led Sunderland to relegation last season. It is however hard to see Bilic remaining in the position considering the club’s recent run of form.

The Hammers have so far been poor this season after they had hoped to challenge for a place in the top half of the standings. If West Ham continue to play the way the they are currently playing, then they could face relegation.
