Michael Owen has predicted that Tottenham will win when they play against Crystal Palace this weekend. Spurs are currently on a high after securing a memorable 3-1 Champions League victory over Real Madrid on Wednesday night.
Palace meanwhile are struggling and are languishing in last place on the Premier League standings after taking just four points from their ten games so far.
Spurs are one of the best teams in England and judging by the way that they played against Madrid, they definitely have what it takes to dismantle Palace.
Roy Hodgson’s side however cannot be underestimated considering that their only League victory of this season came against defending Champions Chelsea.
Owen predicted a win for Tottenham saying: “If Palace fail to score they will become only the second side in the history of the PL (Derby County first in 2007/8) to fail to score in their first six away games of the campaign.
“The return of Wilf Zaha has given the Eagles hope in their quest for Premier League survival, but they may have to wait at least another couple of weeks for a point or even a goal on the road given Spurs are a top-class side.”
