Jurgen Klopp hails the exploits of Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town have received praise for so far exceeding expectations this season and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he thinks that the Terriers have what it takes to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.

Liverpool recorded a comfortable 3-0 win over the Terriers who are managed by Klopp’s good friend David Wagner this weekend; however the match was 0-0 for the first 50 minutes of the game and Mohamed Salah also had a penalty saved by Jonas Lossl.

After the match, Klopp revealed that he feels that Huddersfield will avoid the drop, saying: “They will stay in the league, but without help from Liverpool.

“As for this game, Huddersfield played like they did against (Manchester) United. So, it could have been possible that they would have been successful. We avoided that so I am happy.”
