The agent of Spanish football legend Iker Casillas, Carlo Cutropia has claimed that Liverpool are not lining up a move for his client.

Liverpool are struggling in the goalkeeping department with current number one Simon Mignolet having the worst save percentage of any keeper in the top flight.

Loris Karius has also failed to impress when given opportunities.  Casillas became linked with a move to Anfield last week after reports emerged suggesting that he is unhappy with life at Porto.

Though Casillias has kept seven clean sheets from 10 appearances this season, he was recently dropped by manager Sergio Conceicao for poor performances in training and this has led to speculation that he could leave the club.

Cutropia however dismissed the speculation, saying: “Of the crazy stuff I have seen, this is the craziest. It is crazy and there is no truth in it. Casillas is calm and happy at Porto and he wants to play, logically, just like any footballer.

“I believe that Iker and the manager speak every day but there are issues between the manager and the player. You have to give it time but there is complete calm.”
