Tottenham youngster Dele Alli and Manchester United veteran Ashley Young appeared to engage in an ugly exchange of words during United’s 1-0 win over Spurs on Saturday.
Alli reportedly told Young to ‘retire with a zimmer frame’ while the veteran responded saying, ‘let me know when you win the Prem title’. The incident happened after Young and Alli were involved in an on the pitch altercation which required the intervention of their team-mates.
The exchanges between the two are thought to have continued when they were in the tunnel. After the match, Young appeared to once again take a swipe at Alli and wrote on Twitter, “Great Team Spirit. Very Good Result. Talk is Cheap.”

Alli is young and can be forgiven if he acted immature. However this behavior makes one question his character. It clearly proves that he does lack respect for players old than him and who have won more silverware.
