Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the near future as the young England international hopes of a reunion with his former boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw has not had the best periods working under Jose Mourinho as the Portuguese manager has often targeted the 22-year-old for criticism since taking over the reins at Old Trafford.
Shaw has been subject to Mourinho’s ire last season, with the former Chelsea manager often finding flaws in the ex-Southampton man’s efforts while also consistently dropping the young defender despite his encouraging performances.
This bad treatment by the United manager has led many to speculate that Shaw, who is still only 22, could be leaving Old Trafford in the foreseeable future.
As a result, the Manchester Evening Post claim that Shaw could reunite with his ex-boss Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur as the Argentine was the main influence for Shaw’s growth at Southampton and is still looked upon highly by the young full-back.
