Tottenham star annoyed following Manchester United defeat

Tottenham defender Ben Davies has admitted that he has been left frustrated following his team’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United in a Premier League clash on Saturday. United sealed the three points late on during the second half through a strike from Anthony Martial.

The loss will be very disappointing for Spurs. It did nothing to help them rid themselves of their status as being unable to perform against bigger sides.

As they had to make do without the services of Harry Kane for the game, who is injured, it also did nothing to put pay to the suggestions that they are a one man side which revolves around Kane.

Davies spoke about his frustration after the game saying: “It is more an annoyance. It was a disappointing goal to concede. It was very unlike us. We are just disappointed we didn’t keep a clean sheet and come away with a decent point.

“We don’t concede goals like that. We switched off. It is a tough place to come. We were solid and I thought we were going to keep a clean sheet. We didn’t concede too many chances.”
