According to reports, Manchester United will decide at the last minute on the availability of Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera for Saturday’s crucial Premier League encounter against Tottenham Hotspur.
This comes after the pair picked up knocks while playing for United on Tuesday during their 2-0 Carabao Cup win against Swansea.
Rashford was taken off after pulling up a sprint while Herrera sustained an injury to his ankle. Should the duo not be available it will be a major blow for Jose Mourinho’s team given that they already have to make do without the likes of Paul Pogba, Maroune Fellaini and Michael Carrick.
United are set to make a final decision on the availability of the duo by Friday. Should they be without Herrera, it will mean that Nemanja Matic will be the clubs only recognized central midfielder. Meanwhile Phil Jones and Eric Bailly are set to be available again for United.
