West Ham boss Bilic confirms unhappy man will start against Tottenham

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has confirmed that goalkeeper Adrian will start for the club when they take on Tottenham in a Carabao Cup encounter on Wednesday.

The Spanish international won the first choice keeper position at the club towards the end of last season when he displaced Darren Randolph.

However he once again dropped down to second choice after Joe Hart arrived at the club on loan from Manchester City during the summer.

The 30 year old has since admitted openly his frustration with the lack of game time that he is getting and he has also stated that he will look to leave the club in January in order to gain more regular game time.

Bilic has however confirmed that Adrian will be handed a chance to play during the Hammers game against Spurs.

He said: “I don`t want to pinpoint the players in front of the media. Against Brighton we made a few mistakes and conceded three goals but it`s not because of that. It was a plan from the beginning of the season. Adrian has done well in his first couple of games. It will be Adrian.”
