According to a report published by The Mirror, West Ham want to appoint Roberto Mancini as manager should Slaven Bilic not improve the fortunes of the team in the near future.
The 3-0 defeat which the club suffered at the hands of Brighton and Hove Albion on Friday has left many fans feeling that Bilic is not the right man to lead the club forward.
The Hammers re reportedly giving Bilic two more matches- against Tottenham in the League Cup on Wednesday and against Crystal Palace next week to try to save his job.
It will be very hard to see Bilic retaining his job should the East London club lose to bottom of the table Crystal Palace next weekend.
Mancini is reportedly a favored candidate of the Hammers should they part ways with Bilic. However it remains to be seen whether the Italian would be willing to part ways with Zenit St Petersburg who are doing well in Russia.
