Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has said that Harry Kane should give Christian Eriksen “the elbow” and demand to take free-kick for Tottenham.
The Denmark international Eriksen appears to be Spurs first choice free-kick taker when they get set-pieces within scoring range.
He also has a decent conversion rate having scored six times from free-kicks during his time in the Premier League.
Despite this, Henry feels that Kane should be given an opportunity to prove himself from free-kick situations.
Whilst discussing the situation at Spurs, Henry said: “He said it himself, two years (since he scored) a free kick. So if I was Harry Kane, I would give him the elbow!”
Kane has established himself as one of the most lethal strikers in World football during recent seasons and there is no doubt that if he can get the opportunity to do well from set-pieces, he could significantly increase his goal tally.
