Brighton and Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton has said that West Ham manager Slaven Bilic deserves patience by fans of his club ahead of the Premier League clash between the two sides on Friday.
Bilic is under pressure following his sides slow start to the season as the Hammers have taken just eight points from their opening eight games of the season.
Bilic who during the summer spent £20 million to bring in Marko Arnautovic and £16 million to bring in Javier Hernandez is currently the bookies favorite to be the next manager that will be sacked.
Hughton regards talk of managers losing their jobs early as premature and said: “Personally, I think it is too soon. But it’s something that we have very much got used to.
“It’s the pressure of management, it’s the pressure of needing to get results so quickly. The clamour of everybody involved in the club, in the game, that you have to get instant results.
“Certainly when there has been investment in clubs and, of course the foreign owners that we have now want results instantly and it’s something that we’ve got used to. I don’t see it changing.”
