Aston Villa have joined the race for the signature of the 15-year-old Polish goalkeeper, Mikolaj Bieganski, according to ESPN.
Interest in Bieganski seems to be high at the moment as many top teams in England such as Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United seem to be trailing the young shot-stopper.
The widespread interest in Bieganski started after the young goalkeeper first caught the eye of European scouts in the recent international Under-16 championship where he impressed for the Polish youth national team and as a result, many teams across Europe have promptly invited the player for trails.
It is said that the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa have already had the youngster train with them and now it is believed that all of these club are willing to discuss with the player’s representatives to finalize a move.
While competition is high for Bieganski, Villa will be hopeful to be able to land the keeper as they are in serious need of long term solution in between the sticks to remain competitive in the Championship.
