Jamie Redknapp has heaped praise on Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino and said that the Argentine can manage any team in the World.
Since taking over the North London club, Pochettino has transformed the Spurs squad from a modest team to one that can genuinely compete for major silverware.
Spurs secured an impressive 1-1 draw against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in a Champions League clash on Wednesday. The result sees them jointing hold the lead in Group H with the defending Champions.
Redknapp has heaped praise on Pochettin of or the work that he has done and believes that he can now manage any club in the World.
“Everyone’s talking about him. He’s up there with the best. He could manage any club in the world make no mistake. Tottenham are very very lucky to have him,” Redknapp said on The Debate.
“They have one of the best managers in terms of his development of players; he improves footballers and also tactically he’s as good as anyone.
“You want to look after him. People are talking about Harry Kane maybe going to Real Madrid, but maybe someone like him as well, unless he gets looked after. I’m sure we’ll be talking about him in the same terms. He already is, probably.”
