“Absolutely abysmal” – Celtic fans tear into player following Bayern thrashing

Celtic vs Hearts

Bayern Munich proved too much for Celtic to handle at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night, with 3 goals condemning the Scottish giants to their 2nd group stage defeat of this season’s Champions League.

Thomas Müller opened the scoring for the hosts after Craig Gordon parried Robert Lewandowski’s header into his path.

Joshua Kimmich made it 2-nil on the stroke of half hour, while Mats Hummels completed the scoring 6 minutes after play resumed.

The Hoops could have let in more goals had it not been for some few decent saves from Gordon, and weren’t able to create much chances at the other end, with Leigh Griffiths and his replacement Moussa Dembele chasing shadows all night.

Celtic will now hope to be able to get a result against the Germans in a fortnight with the Parkhead support behind them.

Considering the gap in quality of the players from both sides, not much was expected from the Bhoys.

However, summer arrival Olivier Ntcham appeared to have played way below expectations in the eyes of some Celtic fans on Twitter.

Here are some of their reactions to the display of the France under-21 international.
