Ex-Tottenham star van der Vaart makes worrying claim about Harry Kane

Former Tottenham midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has said that Harry Kane would find it difficult to turn down an opportunity to join Real Madrid.

Following his tremendous early season form which has already seen him score 15 goals for club and country this season, Kane has been linked with a big-money move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Madrid will also reportedly also allow the likes of Luka Modric, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema to leave as they aim to sign Kane. Madrid have long been signing the best players in the World at their prime and it would certainly be no surprise if they do attempt to sign Kane.

“The thing is nobody says no to Real Madrid. But when I see Harry Kane now at Tottenham, the club also want to be bigger and bigger, winning the league, the Champions League, with a new stadium,” van der Vaart told Press Association.

“There is so much to play for. I hope he will stay. Real Madrid of course is something special but Spurs are special to him too.”
