Real Madrid handed huge injury boost ahead of Tottenham encounter

Spanish giants Real Madrid have received a boost ahead of their Champions League clash against Tottenham this week after Keylor Navas made a return to training.

Navas returned from the international break with a muscular problem which was suffered while on duty with the Costa Rica national team and he had to miss his team’s 2-1 victory over Getafe on Saturday, with Kiko Casilla taking his place.

There have been rumors which have suggested that Navas could miss the encounter against Spurs, however considering that the goalkeeper is training again, he is likely to be fit and available.  Madrid themselves even took to Twitter to post pictures of the Costa Rican training.

Madrid will however play the game without the likes of Mateo Kovacic, Gareth Bale and Dani Carvajal. Tottenham meanwhile will be without Danny Rose, Erik Lamela, Victor Wanyama and Dele Alli.

Jan Vertonghen will however return from his ban while Mousa Dembele is back after recovering from injury.
