West Ham boss Bilic says this player was the match changer against Swansea

Joe Hart

West Ham goalkeeper Joe Hart has said that it was substitute Arthur Masuaku who was the game-changer as the Hammers recorded a much needed 1-0 victory over Swansea on Saturday.

The game headed for a boring 0-0 stalemate before Masuaku and Manuel Lanzini combined late on in the second half to set up DiafraSakho who scored the winner.

Masuaku made just 13 Premier League appearances for the East London club last season following his arrival from Olympiacos.

The Hammers did not play particularly well on the day, however the win will give them confidence as well as ease the pressure on manager Slaven Bilic.

Hart admitted after the game that he thinks that Masuaku was the catalyst for his teams win, saying, “We didn’t play particularly well, but we fought.

“The changes were brilliant. Arthur came on and changed the game for us, it was good to have Manuel Lanzini back and you can’t ask for much more than what Diaf gave us.”
