Steve Bruce admits concerns over star man’s fitness

Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce has admitted that he has concerns over the fitness of Mile Jedinak.

The Australian international is currently out injured and is set to mix his country’s upcoming fixtures due to his setback.

Since Jedinak has been unavailable, the performances of Villa have improved as they are currently on a seven match unbeaten run and have won their past three consecutive games.

However Bruce has admitted that he has concerns about how fit the player will be. Whilst speaking about the former Crystal Palace star, Jedinak, Bruce said, “Jedinak isn’t going to Australia, it’s a bit of a concern with him I admit when he played that one game and he was sore.”

As Jedinak is considered a key part of the Villains side, Bruce will be hoping to have him return to training as soon as possible and possibly play in the clubs game against Wolverhampton Wanderers in two weeks.
