Football pundit Paul Merson has predicted a comfortable win for Tottenham this weekend when they take on Premier League newcomers Huddersfield.
The Terriers have so far exceeded expectations as they have thus far claimed nine points from six games and recorded four clean sheets thus far.
They will however face a tough test against one of the top teams in the division and unless Spurs have a bad day, it will be hard to see them managing to contain the threat of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men will also be going all out in order to try and win and reduce the five point deficit which League leaders Manchester City have over them.
Speaking ahead of the game, Merson said, “Huddersfield are coming up against a different kettle of fish this weekend but they do work hard and that will shock Spurs, but in the end the visitor’s quality will tell.
“Harry Kane is absolutely flying at the moment and Huddersfield won’t have come up against anyone like that yet. I don’t see how they will be able to contain him.”
