Tottenham star Harry Kane has revealed that he is confident that his side can defeat Real Madrid when the two sides face off in the Champions League next month.
Spurs are currently jointing on top of group H along with the defending Champions of Europe who have won the competition 12 times.
Kane said that he is confident that his team can do well against the Spanish giants and said, “Of course we know it will be tough but two good teams, an open game probably.
“It will probably come down again to who is more clinical in the final third, hopefully that can be us. We are going there to win, not just to get a result, but we will see what happens.”
Kane is currently on top form and bagged a hat-trick on Tuesday during his team’s victory over Apoel Nicosia.
Spurs will be underdogs going into the game against Madrid, however they will need to play positive football and should Madrid get the basics wrong on the day, an upset could be on the cards.
