Christiansen explains why the next three games are crucial for Leeds

Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen has said that his team’s next three games could prove crucial in whether they manage to achieve their goal of attaining promotion this season.

The Whites are looking to bounce back from their defeat against Millwall last weekend when they face off against Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon.

Despite tasting defeat last week in the Championship, the Whites did manage to bounce back and claim a morale boosting victory over Premier League side Burnley in the Carabao Cup this week.

Following the game against Ipswich, the Yorkshire giants face two tough games against the likes of Cardiff and Sheffield Wednesday.

During the early parts of this season, both sides have also looked like they could possibly launch promotion challenges and the fact that they are seemingly playing with a high level of confidence could make the games difficult.

Yorkshire Evening Post reporter Lee Sobot took to Twitter to reveal that Christiansen said that the next three games could “mark how the season will go.”
