West Ham star Michail Antonio has said that his team-mates are all behind manager Slaven Bilic.
Bilic is under pressure to keep his job after the Hammers made a rather disappointing start to the season.
West Ham lost their opening three successive League games, though they did improve during their last two matches by claiming a win against Huddersfield and following that up with a draw against West Brom. They also claimed a confidence boosting 3-0 victory over Bolton in the Carabao Cup this week.
Bilic will now that his side will face a tough test against Tottenham this weekend and they will be underdogs going into the match. Recent history is however on the Hammers’ side as they have won their last two games against the North London side.
Speaking ahead of the game, Antonio has now stated that his team-mates are behind their manager by saying, “We always turn up against Spurs. It’s a massive occasion and we always want to do it for the fans.
“The team are right behind the manager. It shows in the last three games, and hopefully we can keep building on it and moving forwards.
“With the bad start we had, the last three games have been positive. So hopefully we can build on that, score more goals, and I can get on the scoresheet myself.”
