West Ham boss Bilic makes worrying admission about his star players

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has admitted that he cannot partner Javier Hernandez and Andy Carroll together up front for his team.

The Hammers have struggled in front of goal thus far this season and have taken just four points from their opening five games.

Despite adding proven goal scorers to their lineup in Marko Arnautovic and Hernandez, who previously won the Premier League with Manchester United, the Hammers have only managed to score four goals.

Since Carroll returned from injury, Hernandez has been operating on the right of a three man attack.

While many fans have called for the duo to be paired together up front, Bilic revealed that he thinks that this is not possible by saying, “It is almost impossible.

“It is very hard to put them in their ideal positions as two strikers, which looks good on paper. But you want to have a lot of them (best players) on the pitch at the same time.”
