Heung Son-Min lays down Tottenham’s aims for the season

Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung Son-Min has said that his club are looking to win silverware this season.

The North London club have developed a reputation among some as being underachievers as they have not won a trophy since 2008 when they won the League Cup.

They did launch a strong challenge for the Premier League title during the past two seasons but could not prevail.

The Lillywhites will mpw be looking to break their trophy drought this season and there is no doubt that the club can do it under the guidance of Mauricio Pochettino as they have a very strong squad.

Son has now confirmed that his team-mates are looking to seriously challenge for trophies and said, “I can see in their faces how hungry the players are. Everyone’s ready for the League Cup, the Champions League, the Premier League and the FA Cup when it starts.

“In all competitions we have to get as far as possible, and we’re just looking forward to winning this game. It’s difficult to say ‘we’re going to win the League Cup’.

“It’s much easier to say than to do it and in football you never know what’s going to happen. That’s why on the pitch we need to be there in every competition.

“I’m a person that wants to win every game. When I don’t, when I draw, I’m very disappointed, like on Saturday. Let’s see what happens on Tuesday.”
