Tottenham star Eric Dier has opened up about his team’s mishaps against Swansea during their 0-0 draw at Wembley this weekend.
For Spurs, the result was disappointing as it extended their winless streak in the Premiership at Wembley.
Though Spurs had many chances to win the game, Dier has admitted that they were not clinical enough. He said about his team after the draw against Swansea, “We completely dominated from start to finish.
“We still believe we’re good enough to break teams down and that wasn’t the case today so it’s very frustrating. We just lacked a bit of quality on that final pass, or that final shot.”
It remains to be seen if Spurs will challenge for major silverware this season, but based on the way in which they are currently playing, they may find it difficult to challenge for the Premier League this season.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men will need to improve their confidence at home if they once again wish to do well this season.
