Football pundit Paul Merson has predicted a loss for West Ham this weekend when they take on West Brom.
Merson predicted that the Baggies will go on to win the match and believes that Tony Pulis’s side have what it takes to contain the threat of Andy Carroll.
He said, “West Brom were poor against Brighton, it was like they thought they would just turn up and not lose, but they were bad until they went 3-0 down, then they had a go.
“West Ham got a good result on Monday, but a lot for them depends on Andy Carroll. I think West Brom have the players who could cope with him.”
The Hammers will be looking to record back to back victories after defeating Huddersfield 2-0 on Monday.
West Brom meanwhile will be looking to rebuild following their defeat to Brighton last weekend. They will now that they can exploit weaknesses of their opposition which was exposed as the Hammers had lost their three opening matches of the season.
