Celtic risk losing star as Everton, Tottenham and West Ham all keen

Celtic vs Hearts

Celtic managed to hold on to a couple of their stars during the summer transfer window despite reported interest from Premier League suitors.

The trio of Kieran Tierney, Moussa Dembele and Craig Gordon all courted interests, and while they are set to remain at Parkhead till the end of the season, the Bhoys could struggle to hold on to right-back Anthony Ralston.

As per The Sun, Everton are keen on the 18-year-old, who caught the eyes after fearlessly squaring up to PSG’s Neymar on Tuesday night, in what was just his 5th ever start for Celtic.

The Toffees want to lure Ralston to the Goodison Park when the transfer window reopens in January, and did scout the teenage sensation during the Toulon Tournament, where Scotland Under-20s finished third in the summer, and as well as during Scotland’s Under-21 2-0 win over Holland in Paisley last week.

The Merseysiders aren’t alone in their thoughts, though, with London heavyweights West Ham and Tottenham still very much keen on the Celtic academy product.

Ralston came into prominence following an impressive run in the Hoops first team towards the end of last season, and despite quickly moving to tie him down to a deal until 2019, Celtic would face a huge battle to keep him once the Premier League big spending suitors come calling in subsequent transfer windows.
