Match Preview
Belarus is currently fifth in Group A with only five points and should not be able to pick up any points from this game. The White Wings’ latest result in these qualifiers was a 1-0 loss against Luxembourg away from home and among their four losses so far is a 4-0 defeat against Sweden. The squad for Belarus is not very talented with most of the squad playing domestically and does not come close to the quality that Sweden has on its roster.
Sweden has been a solid team in this Group A of the competition with 13 points out of six games. The Blue-Yellow is coming off a very tough 3-2 loss against Bulgaria away from home but this should be a much less complicated game for the Nordic side.
Mikael Lustig and Marcus Berg scored the goals in that encounter against Bulgaria but some key players may get a rest in this game. Sweden should still win this game no matter what starting XI is put on the pitch with the evident gap in quality between the two sides.
