Match Preview

Denmark is currently third in Group E with 10 points just behind Montenegro in second on goal differential. Poland is six points ahead of Denmark but this would be a tremendous result for the home side if it can get the three points. Manager Åge Hareide counts with a very talented squad with Christian Eriksen being the clear standout with already four goals from the first six games.

The Spurs’ midfielder will need to lead the attack and swing some balls into the area for the lanky, physical strikers up top like Kasper Dolberg and Nicolai Jorgensen. The Danish Dynamite has the fire power to get a favorable result from this game especially with the home-field advantage but will be facing one of the best teams in these qualifiers.

Poland has been dominant in these UEFA World Cup qualifiers currently undefeated, leading Group E with 16 points. The Eagles have scored 15 goals so far and out of those 15, Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has scored 11.

There are other talented players on the Red-and-Whites like Łukasz Piszczek, Kamil Glik, Piotr Zieliński and Arkadiusz Milik but the reliance on Lewandowski is heavy and could turn out to be the team’s downfall in this game. The last times these two teams played each other Poland obtained the 3-2 win and this game should be another exciting encounter between two of the top teams in Group E.
