Leeds United have completed the signing of Malmo FF forward Pawel Cibicki on a four year contract for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old Cibicki notched 13 goals from 47 League appearances for his former side.
The player also represented the Sweden under-21 side during the European Championships this summer and went on to feature three times.
Confirming the deal, Leeds stated on their website, “Leeds United are delighted to confirm the signing of PawelCibicki from Swedish side Malmo FF.”
Cibicki, who can also operate as a winger, certainly does not have the most impressive of strike records in front of goal. Despite this fact though, he has yet to peak and can still develop. Manager Thomas Christiansan will be hoping to get the most out of him.
He will be expected to bring goals to the Whites following the departure of Chris Wood to Premier League side Burnley. Cibicki has become the Yorkshire giants 15th signing of the summer and will don the number 22 shirt.
