Match Preview

Greece is currently finding success in these World Cup qualifiers, second in Group H with 12 points. Hellas is only four points behind Belgium in first and a win in this game is crucial to keep on contending in this competitive Group H, as Bosnia is only a point behind Greece.

The strongest component of the Southwestern European side is the defense with players like Sokratis and Kostas Manolas. Benfica’s Kostas Mitroglou is always a consistent scorer for his national team with already three goals from six games in these qualifiers. Greece does have the much better squad and will count with the home-field advantage that should guarantee the three points from the game.

Estonia is almost mathematically eliminated for a chance at making the 2018 FIFA World Cup, currently fifth in Group H with only four points. The Blueshirts have one win, one draw, four losses and have conceded 17 goals in six games, making them one of the poorest sides in these qualifiers.

There are not many notable names on Estonia as most play domestically, Liverpool’s Ragnar Klavan being the most notable player on the squad. This should be a very complicated game for the Baltic side and it is difficult to imagine that Estonia will walk away with any points from the encounter.
