Leeds United reportedly still attempting to sign prolific German striker

Leeds United could be set to splash the cash yet again this summer as the window is set to come to a close on Thursday.

The Whites have been linked with Pierre-Michel Lasogga for some time now, and it looks as if they are attempting to push a deal through.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are in said to be in discussions with the 25-year-German and that he and his family have come to England to talk about a possible move.

The Hamburg man has yet to make an appearance for his club this season, despite them being low on good strikers, but did score eight times last season.

He has shown to be a decent scorer in the Bundesliga, so he should certainly be able to take that up a notch.

That is especially the case considering the kind of players that he would be surrounded by. He has good size, he can move fairly well, and he’s a capable finisher.

His wages, reportedly, are the only thing slowing this down. But he’s likely to see just what Leeds are doing and change his mind quickly.
