Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has revealed that he feels that he is still not trusted at the Magpies but is determined to deliver.
The 22-year-old Mitrovic was less than impressive last season as he went on to notch 6 goals from 29 games in all competitions for the Magpies and many even called for him to be offloaded this summer.
The Serbian however managed to notch his second goal of the week during the Hammers 3-0 victory over West Ham during the weekend and made an interesting gesture after scoring.
Mitrovic said about his celebration, “For who it is [the gesture], they know. There are a lot of people who don’t trust in me, so I just try to make them wrong. That is everything.”
However, Mitrovic is likely to face a ban following his reckless elbow on Manuel Lanzini and his temperament is certainly something that he needs to sort out.
