West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has admitted that he is worried about the current situation at his club, but added that he still feels that he is the right man to turn things around.
The Hammers have now lost their first three Premiership matches of this season following their 3-0 thumping at the hands of Newcastle on Saturday.
The loss to the Magpies will be very worrying considering that they are also a side that are not in the best of form and had no points in the current season at the start of the game.
The performances of the team so far are likely to heap pressure on Bilic, who was also criticized largely last season as the East London club finished the season in 11th position on the Premiership standings.
Bilic has now admitted that he is worried about the current situation and said, “They were better in every aspect of the game. They had simply more power, more determination.
“I am worried. I’m not panicking, but… after the game against Southampton, we lost (3-2), we still had zero points but I was still very, very positive with the way we played, with the way we reacted after we were left with 10 men.”
