According to reports, West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is set to meet with the club’s board following the clubs poor start to the season.
The Hammers have lost their first three matches of the new season and currently have no points following their 3-0 defeat at the hands of Newcastle on Saturday.
What makes the defeat more humiliating for the club is that the Magpies were also struggling, having lost their opening two matches of the season.
The Hammers brought in experienced campaigners such as Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic to their team this summer but so far, the quartet have failed to improve the team’s results.
The Hammers board will decide whether they need a change of manager during the meeting and Newcastle United Rafa Benitez is one of the managers that have been touted as a possible replacement.
Benitez has openly expressed his frustration at the Newcastle board for failing to give him sufficient capital to make quality signings and this could tempt him into leaving the club.
