New Leeds United attacker confidently speaks about his qualities

New Leeds United signing Jay-Roy Grot has informed fans of the club that they have themselves a player who is quick and who can score goals

Following the recent departure of Chris Wood to Premier League side Burnley, the Whites will need to find new outlets for goals and they will certainly be hoping that Grot has what it takes to deliver.

Leeds have paid NEC Nijmegen £1.5 million for the 19-year-old and the youngster is a player who can operate as a striker or right winger.

It is unlikely that Grot will be able to emulate the goal scoring form of Wood; however he could potentially develop into a quality player as he progresses.

The youngster does have confidence in his own ability which is a good sign and he said upon his arrival to Elland Road, “I will do my best and try to score as many as possible. I am strong, fast and can shoot.”

He managed five goals from 31 games for Nijmegen.
